Is there a cost to join the Mavride provider network?

No. There is no fee to apply or join the Mavride provider network. Mavride earns its revenue through brokerage arrangements with health plans and MCOs — not from providers. Approved providers receive trip assignments and are compensated according to the terms of their provider agreement.
Applications are reviewed within 5–7 business days of submission. The credentialing stage may take an additional 5–10 business days depending on the completeness of your submitted documentation. Providing complete and accurate information at the time of application speeds up the process significantly.
Mavride coordinates NEMT across all 254 Texas counties. Trip volume varies by region, with the highest concentration in the Greater Houston area, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin. We are actively expanding our rural and underserved county coverage and welcome providers operating in those areas.
Medicaid trip capability is preferred but not always required, depending on the trip types and regions you serve. During the application review, our team will discuss the trip mix available in your area and whether your credentials and insurance align with Medicaid requirements. Providers who are not yet Medicaid-credentialed may still be considered for non-Medicaid managed care trips.
Payment terms are established in your Mavride Provider Agreement. Payments are processed based on completed, verified trip records submitted through our coordination system. Specific rates, payment cycles, and submission procedures are outlined in the agreement provided during onboarding.
Mavride maintains performance standards across our network on behalf of our health plan and MCO partners. Trip cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, and compliance issues are tracked and reviewed. Providers with repeated performance issues may be placed on a performance improvement plan or removed from the network. We work with providers to resolve issues fairly and professionally before escalating.
